Some random thoughts swimming in my head…

• I just realized that our little vacation is going to cause me to miss TWO episodes of Big Brother!
• Other than Big Brother there is ABSOLUTELY nothing worth watching on TV right now. I CAN’T wait until the fall line-up starts up!
• Since there’s NOTHING on… Daniel and I have become quite addicted to a show called Damages on FX. Quite a crazy show… but I’m SOOO hooked… it’s one of those show you something crazy that’s going to happen in the future, then flash back to the past, and flash back to fill in the missing pieces kinda shows. It’s not near as confusing as that was! Definitely one of those shows that leaves you DYING to see the next episode…
• Just realized that all I’m thinking about is tv junk! WOW
• Did a little too good of a job getting my work stuff done… and now I’m down to only non-urgent boring junk I let pile up for months…
• I’m pretty sure I’m going to pack WAY too much stuff
• A little birdy told me that Daniel might be preaching again in the near future
• Daniel’s off work already and that ALWAYS makes my day longer thinking about how I could be home with him… errr

Last Day

This is my LAST DAY OF WORK!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAY Okay well I say it’s my last day of work, but what I really mean is it’s my last day of work before vacation… still have to go back after vacation unfortunately…

I’ve been a bad, bad blogger

Yeap, I confess… haven’t posted too many blogs lately! And probably won’t get too many out of me in the next week either Sorry. Here’s my pathetic attempt at excuses…

• And I’ll go ahead and give my excuse for not posting too much this week… we leave for vacation Thursday, come back Monday, and probably won’t be posting too much during that time.

So there you go! Can’t wait to post details of our vacation next week though

Weekend Update

Is that an SNL segment? I can’t remember… oh well!

We had a VERY nice weekend… we’re saving up for vacation so we had a good excuse to stay home all weekend. And I have to say, I’m SUCH a homebody and LOVED it! Daniel was probably just about to be bored by the time Sunday came around. With that said, we did venture out to Caleb’s 3rd birthday party and over to Danny and Cindy’s for dinner… but other than those outtings we stayed home and got stuff done around the house. Pretty relaxing weekend!!

But of course all that relaxation is but fond memories now I even got up when my initial alarm went off and reset it (which I hardly ever do)… aaaghhh…

Good news (that I’m reminding myself of CONSTANTLY)… only 4 more days of work (after today) until vacation! YAY

Wonderful Husband Alert #7,892

Yeap… my husband is too wonderful for words! He’s been working on building us a little patio area up under the trees in our back yard. So he’s been moving stones and leveling junk and what have you… So… the especially wonderful part is he hung our hammock! And now it’s my new favorite place!! Nothing like swinging your cares away!

I’ve almost recovered from Super Cold 2008! Don’t I sound like Georgia news teams when a “SNOW STORM” is coming? hahah

No seriously… I do feel better. Apparently all of the drugs have gone to my brain because I’ve been doing all kinds of ridiculously stupid things today! Oh well…

Setting Life Goals

So I came across this blog by Mark Batterson the other day about setting life goals. I have to admit… I’m just the kinda dork that kinda obsesses over setting goals. You know what they say, you’ll never get anywhere if you don’t know where you want to go. Okay… maybe I just made that up.

Anyways, he’s apparently wrote a little snippit called 10 steps to setting life goals. The shortened version is 1) Start with Prayer 2) Check your motives 3) Get Ideas from Others 4) Think in Categories 5) Be specific 6) Write them down 7) Include others 8 ) celebrate along the way 9) Think big 10) keep dreaming…

Thought that was pretty good stuff! As soon as I get my hands on a copy of it, might have to set some life goals!
