Random Ramblings

• We leave for NC TOMORROW!!!!!
• I worked a 12 hour day yesterday and I’m working another one today. What the heck is wrong with me? AGHGHG!!! At least I’ll get to leave early Wednesday instead of having to wait until 4:30.
• We’re taking Apollo with us! I’m sure he’ll absolutely LOVE getting to see the fam too. Probably definitely more than they will love seeing him.
• I’m SOOO far behind with my schoolwork assignments. I didn’t have hardly any time this weekend to work on it. Good news… I’ll be trapped in a car for four hours tomorrow and again on Sunday!
• We had a dilemna this weekend… put up the Christmas decorations a week too early or have to wait two weeks to get them up… hmmm… we decided to put them up Sunday afternoon. The house looks SOO pretty. We even got the outside of our house decorated. I’m pretty sure we’re the first house in our neighborhood… I know we’re seriously hacking off the ”Thanksgiving celebration comes before Christmas decorations” clan. Oh well… it was either that or only have them up for 2 weeks boo
• Apollo was SOOO adorably sweet to watch while we were putting up the Christmas decorations. He was so fascinated by it all. He ended up being covered in gold glitter by the time it was all over!

Quick Rundown

• it’s been a crazy few weeks and I’m pretty sure it will only get crazier… so bear with me if I don’t post as much for awhile.
• School… School… School – yeah I was scared to death about 2 weeks ago. SOOO much information, not enough brain to hold it all. But it’s getting better. Looks like the first whole module was a humongous overview (hence the overwhelmed, can’t breathe feeling)… now we’re going back over it and breaking it down into more bite-sized pieces. Still a little scary, but I feel like I’m at least half-way understanding it now
• I told Daniel yesterday that right now taking one class at a time is pretty much requiring about two whole weekend days to get it done… I don’t know what I’m going to do in January when I start taking THREE classes at a time! I guess that would be six days a week… except I work a full 40 hours every week too… so can’t quite reconcile that in my head yet!
• We’re leaving for NC to see my fam two weeks from TODAY! YAY I’m so looking forward to getting away for a few days, eating some turkey, and watching some football!
• My mom is letting me do the turkey this year… I told her I wanted to do it but needed some supervision in case I try to blow it up or something! So we’ll see how that goes… 
• Daniel turns 30 FRIDAY!!!! Craziness…
• We had a movie night thing down at the property this past weekend. TOO MUCH FUN! We projected Open Season up on the barn and it for real looked GREAT! I told Daniel that we should start bringing our own movies down there to watch.
• My boss is retiring We’re all pretty much depressed around quality managementville. TOO sad… don’t think everybody’s comprehending it so much. I think it will probably be 6 months before they get anyone in here… pretty specialized and not too many risk managers floating around looking for jobs. Will be a pretty scary transition time for all of us.
• Our church got approved to start meeting at Luella Middle School… it’s going to be a TON of work but sooo exciting!! Now we get to meet on Sunday mornings in an easy-to-find location! The only way it could get any better is if I actually had time to get back into my normal Sunday routine of church – lunch – nap jk
