Hillsong United cont.

I forgot to mention that it absolutely POURED during the concert. Outdoor amphitheater venue… we were on row X and barely covered by the awning… but actually pretty psyched that it rained on us. His love literally rained down on us… pretty awesome experience. The lightning and thunder just made it all the more clear that we were in the presence of GOD!!! Still PUMPED about it!!!

Hillsong United

I can cross that one off my bucket list!

I’ve always wanted to see Hillsong United (technically in Australia… but Atlanta will do… for now)… they actually came to Atlanta! Closest I’ve ever heard of them being is Miami… little bit of a hike down there. Just in case you’ve never heard of them, they are an AMAZINGLY gifted group of worship leaders from Hillsong Church in Australia. They write pretty much THE greatest worship music EVER!!!

So Daniel and I grabbed a couple of girls from our youth group and headed up to Alpharetta. I can’t even begin to describe how incredible it was. Hundreds of people declared Jesus as their Savior! There’s just nothing like celebrating how amazing our God is with several thousand other people! Can’t really call it a concert… more like a worship celebration!

If they ever come your way, make sure you go!

I know it’s been awhile! Ya’ll probably know once I start classes I get lost somewhere in never-neverland I’ll try to be better… I promise, kinda. haha

Did I mention we’re also leaving for camp in two weeks, planning the camp meeting, helping organize about 75 different things for the summer, working full time, keeping up with the church website and developing another website for church? Yeah…
